Resident students may please note that they will be granted only that type of leave for which their parents have given approval.

Parents must specify whether late night/night out leave is to be granted to their daughter and note that the college shall not be responsible for the resident when she is outside the college campus.

Before availing leave, prior sanction (at least a day in advance) shall be obtained from the Matron, duly entered in the Permission Slip Book.

Leave exceeding two days will be sanctioned by the Warden on written request/application from the parent/local guardian duly forwarded by the matron.

Permission to stay/overnight leave in any place not mentioned in form 'B' of the admission form will not be granted.

Daily Leave is allowed to a student after classes upto 7.15p.m. in summer and 7.00 p.m. in winter.

Students are required to sign in a register every time they leave the hostel premises (except for attending classes, visiting the college library, canteen) to fill in the required details herself and sign again in the same register when they come back.

Late leave is allowed (till 10 p.m.) twice a month to 1st yr. and four times a month to 2nd year and 3rd year students.

For security reasons the local guardian or any escort approved by the local guardian must reach the ward back to the hostel by 10 p.m.

Severe action will be taken against students, who abet other students, whether in breaking the rules or in undermining the discipline of the hostel.

Students in groups will be allowed late night for events in other colleges with permission of the Principal/Warden.

Students will be permited two late night events in other colleges, one each in the 1st and 2nd terms. They will not be permited for late night events in other colleges in the 3rd term.

Late leave on week days will be granted only under exceptional circumstances by the Warden at her discretion.

Night out is allowed, to visit the local guardian, on weekends and on holidays.

Any student failing to return to the Hostel after expiry of her leave, without prior intimation, will be liable to disciplinary action which could be expulsion from the Hostel, withdrawal of leave privileges for a specified period, or heavy fine for the period overstayed.

Admission under the category of sports, extra curricular activities etc. will be monitored periodically. Students may lose their seat in the hostel., if they fail to participate actively in the respective activities.

Only lady visitors will be permitted in the rooms on Hostel Night function.

No guest will be permitted to stay for more than one night on the occasion of Hostel Night function.

No student will be permitted to have more than two guests on Hostel night. Transfer of a guest will not be permitted.

Students wanting to go home during preparatory leave/overstay or early departure before/after the autumn/winter vacation will not be considered for rebate in the mess charges.

All resident students must abide by any new rule/rules that may be introduced during any part of the year.

Playing of games and tape-recorders, verandas, particularly adjoining the Administrative Offices, Hostel lawns is not allowed. Offenders are liable to disciplinary action.

Use of cell phones inside hostel premises is not permitted. Offenders will be fined Rs. 500/- and the instrument will be confiscated."
