The resident is responsible for the care and maintenance of the room and furniture provided to her. |

No additional furniture will be allowed in the room.

The residents are expected to keep their rooms tidy. Rooms are subjected to check by the Matron/Warden at any time. Any damage or disfiguring of wall, cupboard, etc. is subject to fine of Rs.200/-. Defaulters will be fined for each default found during regular checking of the rooms. Sticking posters on the walls, cupboards are strictly prohibited. |

Residents are required to maintain cleanliness of their rooms, bathrooms and corridors. Bins are provided for the collection of litter, fruit peels etc. |

| 5. |
Cooking is not permitted in the rooms. |
| |
|
| 6. |
The use of any electrical appliances like heater, immersion rod, iron, stove etc. inside the rooms is strictly prohibited. The appliance will be confiscated and a fine of Rs. 200/- will be imposed on offenders. |

| 7. |
Transistors/tape recorders/two-in-one will be allowed provided they operate on battery and the other residents or room-mates do not object. During examination period playing of transistors/Tape-recorders/two-in-one will not permitted. Any violation of these regulations will lead to a fine of Rs. 200/- and confiscation of these articles for the duration of their stay in the hostel. |

Every student on leaving her room shall switch off the light and fan. Defaulters will be fined Rs. 125/- in case a fan or light is not switched off before proceeding for vacation. |

| 9. |
The electricity bill if found more than the regular amount collected, shall be borne equally by all the residents. |
| |
|
| 10. |
No student shall carry on activities in her room, which cause disturbance or annoyance to her neighbours in the hostel or college authorities. Disciplinary action will be taken against such students by the Hostel authorities. |

Silence bell rings at 10.00 p.m. after which all resident students are expected to be in their respective rooms and maintain silence thereafter in the hostel. Defaulters will be fined Rs.20/- Per night. |

T.V. will be switched off at 9.50 p.m. |

| 1. |
The resident may have her mother or sister or college mate occasionally as her guest for a maximum of three days with prior permission of the Principal/Warden only. This is only as a special case. |

The Principal/Warden reserves the right to refuse the stay of any guest. |
| |
|
| 3. |
The same person cannot be guest repeatedly. |
| |
|
| 4. |
Guest charges are Rs.200/-per day per head, payable in advance. |
| |
|
| 5. |
The matron should be informed twenty-four hours in advance. |
| |
|
| 6. |
The guest coupons will be available with the Matron. |
| |
|
| 7. |
No guest will be ordinarily allowed during 1st and 3rd term. |
