Department Profile

B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry is one of the most sought after course in the pure sciences. It is an integrated course. The syllabus comprises of the following subjects–Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry along with Physics and Mathematics. Besides this students get exposure to two other subjects viz Environmental Chemistry in first year and Computer and its Application to Chemistry in second year. Chemistry (Hons.) course opens avenues for entry into M.Sc. M.B.A., M.C.A. and B.Ed along with R&D and managerial position in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry. The college has a highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff.
