1) Every candidate will apply to the college on a Preliminary Registration form available from the college office along with the prospectus or separately. The Preliminary form should be filled up with all the required details. Certificates or attested copies thereof are not required with this application.
2) A candidate who wishes to be considered for more than one course should submit a separate application for each course. Only candidates who have applied for a particular course will be considered for admission to that course. All applications should be handed in the College at the specified counters. Applications may also be mailed to the College.
3) The first (and subsequent) admission lists will be put up on the college notice board on the dates according to the Admission Schedule announced by the University of Delhi.
4) Candidates who qualify according to the criteria stated therein and have applied for admission to the College will report to the Departmental Admission in charge in the room allotted between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. with required documents.
The original and one attested photocopy of the following documents are to be submitted at the time of admission:
(a) Provisional certificate from the institution last attended.
(b) Marks sheet of the examination passed.
(c) Secondary School Certificate (class X) issued by the Board/
University for date of birth.
(d) A separate character certificate from the institution last attended in case it is not a part of (a) above.
(e) Three copies of recent unattested passport size photographs
5) After obtaining the recommendations of the Departmental admission in charge, the candidate will report to the Convenor of Admissions.
6) On getting her candidature confirmed, the candidate will deposit fees with the college cashier. Fees are payable by a crossed local demand draft drawn in favour of Principal, Daulat Ram College. Admission is finalized only on payment of fees. It should therefore be done within the time mentioned in the college admission list notification.
7) No individual intimation regarding admission will be sent. All notices regarding admission will be displayed on the college Notice Board from time to time.
8) Once the Admissions Committee has taken a decision on a candidate’s application for admission, the college will not entertain any personal representation, correspondence or telephonic enquiry on the subject.
9) The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
Note:
i) Forms incomplete in any respect will be rejected.
ii) Seeking admission on the basis of false information or identity, misrepresentation or by submitting false certificates/ documents is unlawful and will cause cancellation of admission. Such cases may be reported to the police by the college. |
